I just came close to naming my girl Hazel. People on this board seemed to like that name, and I do too. Other "non-frilly" names I considered for my girl were: Jazz, Mable, and Mazey. There are SO many great yorkie names on this website, you'll have no trouble coming up with one... but I vote for Hazel ! cheryl (with Violet) | |

| So many ideas! I was told a good thing is to wait until you have had your Yorkie for a day or a few days, and see what they are like before you name them. I've been lucky b/c both breeders told me that I had a month before I had to come up with a name for registration. I was also told that whatever name you choose, it can always be changed so that you are calling them differently then their registered name. I had a good laugh over ShyAnne's Mom's name. Her registered name is: Rodmarley Princess Kanzi Kalipy and they call her Zoe. Breeder said she didn't even know why that happened b/c she started out calling her Kanzi. So, don't get too worried if you don't name her until after you have her. It's just like when those of us have our own skin kids - we get all twisted about naming the new baby and then, sometimes, the name we pic just doesn't suit our baby. LOL

| A couple of name suggestions... Since Yorkies are so tiny, why not call her Trinket or My Little Charm. |
