| Hallee back to the vet again today..knee surgery :( She just went yesterday for her right leg and now today for her left. The vet should have checked both yesterday. The left is worse than the right. Her knee pops our every time she moves her left leg. She will be on anti-inflammatory medication for 10 days for pain and inflammation. If still limping ect then will have surgery. The vet thinks def. surgery though. He only does one leg at a time. He said later on her right will have to be done too. He said he does this surgery at least once a month so that makes me feel more comfortable. I am just worried about her waking up. That scares me more than anything. I just cried on my way home from the vet. I think I am taking this worse than Hallee. She is a tropper, not a sound of pain out of her. I hate seeing her this way, but we are doing all we can for her. Of course she is not running around or jumping like she normally does. The vet said after the surgery her leg will be back to normal. Please pray for Hallee and keep her in your thoughts. She will be two next month.

| awww, I'm sorry for your sad news...it is very hard when your baby has to have surgery. Carley had her hip surgery on Sat. and here today on Tuesday she is doing excellent. They really bounce back faster than you think they will. The hardest part for us was that she had to stay overnight and then they look so pitiful the next day after the surgery...all shaved and doped up. Best of luck to you, I know how hard this is to go through!!

| I'm sorry for the bad news. I do have to say though, and please just take this from someone who has been in your shoes, doing 1 knee a month doesn't sound right to me. Is he a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon? I know the expense of these surgeries but in the long run it truly does pay to find the best available in your area.

| I am not sure if he is certified ortho sugeon. I believe he is just regular vet. This is all new to us and hubby was looking on line at work for ortho surgeons to possible have her looked at again. I have not talked to him yet to see what he found out. I just want the best for my baby. The vet said the surgery would be 150.00. He said there is a couple of ways to do this. He said to move the bone over or nip and tuck(as he called it). He was very busy and worked me in and that is all I got from him. What kind of info should I be asking or looking for?
