Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | The Yorkietalk Book ? This forum will teach you more than a book will .... but a REALLY good book/story is The Gift of Jazzy by Cindy Adams ....her first Jazzy died very tragically - but she has another yorkie she named Jazzy also ...for learning about Yorkies - the Janet Jackson book Guide to Yorkshire Terriers is good also... It's on Amazon and you can do a search on her - it's a GREAT story about how she got her yorkie as a gift from a friend. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...22538?v=glance

| A New Owner Owner's Guide to Yorkshire Terrier's By Janet Jackson is great for general info about Yorkies and the breed If you want to learn about how the breed was developed and an in depth of study of the standard and the history of the breed, I would recommend The New Complete Yorkshire Terrier by Joan B Gordon, and The Book of the Yorkshire Terrier by Joan Brearley

| I bought a Yorkshire Terrier book at Petsmart when I first got Cookie. I thought it was very informative. I don't know who the writer/publisher was. I'm at work now but I'll check when I get home. I was wondering if anyone tried the Yorkshire Terriers for dummies? I think I'm a dummy sometimes so that book would probably suit me well! That's an excellent question, Lily's mom. |

| There's also "Yorkshire Terriers for Dummies" and besides the title I thought was a pretty good reference book.
