| How good is your Yorkie's hearing? I've tried and tried and tried and tried to sneak up to the house without the "trio" knowing I've come home - They know everytime! I live in a condo and my car is a little distance from the unit. So I thought maybe they know the "chirp" when I set the alarm.... Nope! that's not it... I've crawled under the window... tip toed as quietly as I can... They still know I'm home! How do they do it? Can you sneak up to your house undetected?

| no it is IMPOSSIBLE!!! we just started leaving layla home alone so i wanted to see what she was doing while i was gone and would try and sneak up but no luck... she sits on the stairs i think when we are gone so she can see us coming up the road and gets down by the door when i pull in... i wish i could just see what she is doing!! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Not very often. When I came back from a business trip two or three years ago, my mom picked me up at the Metro station. We decided I would "sneak" in the house. Ozzie was in the kitchen at the time (had to do some potty-training reinforcement) so I was able to slip in and my mom just greeted him and let him out. I stood in the hallway quietly and he almost had a heart attack when he saw me. It's the only time I've ever been able to do that. He always knows when I'm home. |

| My two seem to hear everything, BUT when they are tired at night.... that is it. GONE. Ignorant to the World!! They sleep so soundly. Also there are times when Shelby don't listen because she can be hard-headed. She acts like she don't hear me, once she gets her mind made up about something... it can be frustrating!

| I, believe it or not, have been able to sneak up on Winston...he was fast asleep in his bed in the kitchen when I came home...he just kind of slowly opened his eyes, snuggled into his blankie, stretched, rolled over and yawned. I guess he wasn't as excited to see me as I was to see him.

| LOL I can just picture you sneaking around your house, crawling under windows and walking around on tip toe. Toooo funny! Jake is the same way. My husband says it seems like he hears me before I even pull in the driveway because he'll sit on the back of the recliner and watch the door lol |

| My "kids" have selective hearing. They do not hear me calling them to come in when they are outside playing. But if I even try to sneak in or out they hear my every move. And if I open a plastic bag, I swear they can hear if from the other side of the house.LOL |

And the keys! - Zooom! Right at the door! Actually if I can't find one in the house, I jiggle the keys and like magic they appear!

| I dont think I have to worry about anyone breaking in for sure. My dogs can me upstairs with me and the bedroom door is closed and they are sound alseep and if the doorknob downstairs turns they hear it and up they go. It is probably a good thing since I can hear too well. |
