| Tucker and I LOVE the Outward Hound Lookout Seat which you can see here at http://www.petco.com/product/12262/O...ster-Seat.aspx It's easy to put in and take out and it's simple to clean. We just hook his harness onto the clip and he can see out the window or curl up and snooze. Car rides are no problems with this seat. I bought mine for about $22 at Petsmart.

| There are several posts with lots of info..... just do a search for car seat . I use the oversized Lookout for my 2 Yorkies. They love it. I have the microsuede fabric and it is really nice. I buy a lot of stuff for my furkids.... but this is one of the best purchases that I have made... even hubby agrees that it was worth getting.

| We have this one and I LOVE it! It's easy to use and I feel safer having Susanah completely enclosed. http://www.petsmart.com/global/produ...N=2032883&Ne=2

| I use my pet carrier, but that's probably not secure enough. Humm..need to think about that one.

| this is the one I love it I got this at a local pet shop. Tede sits hi up, so he can look out. In the truck it fits in the front. But most of the time it sits nicely in the back seat of a car. He loves to look and bark at every thing that moves. or some time we fit it in the middle of the back seat so he can look over our shoulders and beg for treats. I have seen them on line. They are a tall foam padding, with a fluffy covering. sorry I dont have the name. when he goes with us he loves to sleep in it. heres a pic. hope this helps and there are hook ups so it hooks to a harness Last edited by sassytooyou; 07-06-2007 at 05:27 PM. | Lacy currently has The Snoozer Console Lookout Carseat: http://www.gwlittle.com/prod/Car-Sea...okout_166.aspx She rides well in it and we've had it for a year now. It says dogs up to 4lbs but she is 7lbs and just fits into it. It's almost a little small for her though. I think it's really made for cars with bucket seats because it doesn't fit that well onto my console and I have to adust it sometimes. I've been wanting to get her a new one for quite a while now and finally did it! I just ordered this one today! I can not wait to get it! It's the Snoozer Luxury Microsuede Lookout Carseat in Pink! This one is for dogs up to 18lbs and sits into the seat of the car. She might miss being right next to me but I think she'll really like having a bigger seat. http://www.gwlittle.com/prod/Car-Sea...-Seat_530.aspx

| Great thread! I just ordered the console version a couple of days ago and I hope she will adjust to it because letting her ride on my lap is out of the question and she won't just sit quietly in the seat with a harness.

| Please remember not to put your dog's car seat in the front seat if you have air bags. In case of an accident your dog could be severely injured or even killed by the air bag.
