| Bath time Hi everyone, I'm new to the site and a new owner of a yorkie. I'm sure there are alot of things that I need to learn about yorkies as I am just beginning. Roxy is almost 9 months old. Her former owner has trained her really well (housebroken, basic commands, etc.) However, when I give her a bath, I am afraid to get her head wet. Any suggestions on how to wash her head and nose. I would appreciate any help you can give. thank you. |

| Bathing I bath Bogey from the tail up. I wet him all over in the sink & start with the tailend with soap. By the time I get to his head, I just put a drop in my hand then transfer it to his head. I've never had a problem with that.

| i also go from tail up.. i save the head for last because as long as her head is dry she won't shake. It REALLY helps to have help if that is possible.. my mom holds her head up... nose pointing to the sky and i rinse the water from her eyes back and then i just use a really wet facecloth to do around her eyes and nose and mouth where it gets REALLY dirty! |
