| I think everyone's having neighbor problems lately.. This whole year my mother has been in and out of the hospital so she has been at out of work and at home everyday. Today while I was at work, someone rang the door bell and my mother opened the door while Killer(my 7 month old dog) ran out.. usually he just runs out and runs around the person at the door.. but my next door neighbor happened to be outside walking her dog so he ran to the dog and kinda jumped at him... like he does to any dog he sees wanting to play. My mother ran after him but the lady began screaming at my mother that my dog was so mean and that he bit her dog and that all he does is bark at everyone and she went on and on.(I'm not sure what kind of breed the dog is but he is 10x the size of Killer and is at least 50 pounds.. I know because the other day he had jumped on me wanting me to pet him). My mother offered to pay vet fees if she found it necessary to take her dog to the vet, but the lady just walked away huffing and puffing. So when i arrive home my mother is in tears and worried.. She is only 48 and has had a heart attack this year so it isn't good for her to stress. I went out to walk Killer and after, my mother and I sat on our porch with him and were talking. The lady comes outside with her dog and crosses the street THEN walks past our house.. I grabbed Killer and brought him in while my mother walked over to the lady and asked her if her dog was okay.. The lady didn't even LOOK at my mother and said "He's fine!" and kept walking. This lady has been my neighbor for years yet she turns her face anytime my brother and I are outside, so I know she is.. not the nicest person lol.. Is the lady overreacting? or am I not taking this seriously enough? Yes, my dog does bark at everyone outside but isn't that a yorkie thing? Isn't it his personality as a puppy to want to play with other dogs? I've had him around other dogs and they've always just played around.. |

| Do You Know Some People Are Just Horrible - I Really Would Just Ignore Her, Turn Your Heads Away Too If You See Her Out And About. You Have Done Nothing Wrong, But You Unfortunatly Have To Live Near Someone Like This. I Would Keep Your Little One Away - Dont Give Her Any Chance To Cause Trouble With You Or Your Baby.......... She Is Just A Nasty Type Of Person...... Try Your Best To Ignore Her Completly. Dont Give Her The Satisfaction To Think She Has Upset Or Bothered You. Good Luck......

| You know if it was any of us and a neighbor dog "bit our dog" we would definately be taking them to the vet and having discussions with the owner. In my opinion, she just wants to be nasty, and her dog is not injured. Otherwise I think she would discuss a vet visit with you or your mom. Hope your mom is doing well and taking life easy. I wouldn't worry about your neighbor.

| Sounds like someone pissed in her Fruit Loops that morning or something. Ignore the old hag. I am sure Killer didnt do anything to her dog she just felt the need to nag. My dogs sit in the window and bark at anything and everything outside so I leave the window closed so not everyone can hear them. I have a gate up in front of the door so they dont charge the door and escape too. I would never catch them if they did. Just smile real big and wave to her and tell her to have a nice day next time you see her. |

| I've had a similar situation many times when Phoebi was younger. She would run out the door when we opened it and if someone happened to be walking by she would go "greet" them. I have to say it took me a few times to realize how annoying that must be for the person walking their own leashed dog. Not to mention....who knew if their dog was friendly! So....I'm not condoning her nasty attitude but I can understand. She should have been kind enough to accept your apologies and at least say thank you!

| What a b****! Just ignore her, she's not worth your time...or your baby's for that matter.

| first off, I hope your mom is okay ... secondly ... that neighbor is down right nasty. and if she does not want her dog approached she should stay away from your home... since she knows your dog might run to play. Shame on her ....
