| Has anyone had this happen before? Autumn was spayed the first week of april. They stitched her internally so she could not get at them. She has had little bumps under the skin that you could still feel. They told me it was normal and would go down over time. (My groomer said it was fine as well) Then lastweek Autumn had a little sore on the site it did not seem to bother her when I touched it. I started cleaning it just to make sure it was nothing (almost looked like a pimple.) Yesterday I felt something sharp and pointy sticking out so I took a tweezer to it and wouldnt you know it, it was a peice of nylon from the stitches and then this morning I got another peice out. It does not hurt her or look inflamed in anyway but I am curious if this has happened to anyone else? |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That happend to Cali and I took her back to the Er hospital as that was where she had all her abdominal surgery done and they said it would reabsorb in to her body eventually. It took a few months but it did go away. It was so weird to touch as it was like a sharp black thread sticking out.

| That actually happened to my ex-boyfriends father when he had a major surgery on his chest, it happened for years afterwards. It's no big deal unless you notice that it bothers her or see signs of infection. There is also nothing wrong with being worried and getting her checked just in case!
