Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Microchipping Service (which do you belong to) For those of you that have babies that are microchipped..which service are you enrolled in and what do they charge (if you don't mind sharing). Thanks. I was wondering because I came across the self chip set up that breeders and regular folks like us can use and it's linked to HomeAgain. I checked their site and it shows for a regular registration and the advanved registration but it's not outright about it's price. Thanks.

| we use home again because our local shelter uses them (they microchipped her) I don't remember the exact price but it was not expensive at all, something like $12-20 for the year. |

| I didn't know HomeAgain was a yearly service. I thought it was a once and done registration. We have that for our Shih Tzu because the rescue micro chipped him before we got him. But for our Yorkie, I forget who that's with. It's not HomeAgain. The vet did our Yorkie.

| mine is through 24petwatch.com which I had done through our local humane society. It was like $20 or $25 per pet and there's no annual fee or anything. My vet would have been way more expensive (through home again, I think) and I figured if my dogs are picked up, they'd probably be brought to the humane society, so easy enough to find me if they have the information.

| Sissy was chipped at our local animal shelter. It was $20 (one time charge) for her chip. The brand is Avid.

| Microchipping Service Gracie was microchipped by her vet when she was spayed -- the service co. is Home Again and I'm pretty sure it's just a 1-time charge. |
