| Jersey is 3 months and one week and she weighs 2 lbs. 11oz. Her mom was 4 lbs. and dad 4lbs. My vet doesn't think she'll hit 6 lbs. but I'm not that optimistic but I am hopeful, since my Tia is only 4 lbs and we got Jersey basing her adult size on what the parents were. Like a couple of others Jersey has a long body and long legs. She hasn't gotten much hair yet, but getting cuter every day. I guess I'm being selfish but I'll be a bit upset should she get above the standard. We really wanted someone Tia's size so she'd have a playmate. I know adult size is hard to determine. Elaine |

| My Mango was 1.8 lbs at 12 weeks. She is now just over 6months old and weighs just under 4 lbs.She had a HUGE growth spurt betweeen 3 and 4 months of age, but seems to have completely slowed down in the past month. She has a square body, that is the measurement from her shoulder to the floor is the same as from her shoulder to her tail. Her Mom is 4 lbs and her Sire is 2.5 lbs. |

| I dont remember how much my dogs weighed at 3 months, but I do know that growth spurts can happen later than a year.. my boys weighed 5.6lbs and 4.4lbs at 15 months. I have the rabies certs from 12/06 with those weights on them. And as of probably Feb (only 2 months later) they weighed in at 8lbs and roughly 5lbs. They hold steady there... but yeah, they didnt have a growth spurt until well over a year old! Weird huh?

| Maxwell was 3.5 at 3 months; he's 4.9 at 5.5 months. I read that on average you can double the weight at 3 months to get what adult weight would be. The previous posts show there isn't really a pattern like that. My previous yorkie was 1.5 pounds at 3 months, and ended up 8 pounds as an adult. |
