My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Pool Safety Items Does anyone have (and I don't know the tech. term for it) the ramp thing that floats in your pool incase your baby falls in and they can get out??? We have a 27 foot pool with a large deck and I keep the deck gated off, but I think you can never be too safe and was thinking of buying one, but wanted to hear some reviews first. I think they are like $60??? Anyone know what I'm talking about? |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I agree!!! Even though my little ones have their fenced in yard and the deck is gated, doesn't mean that an accident couldn't happen. I would die if anything ever happened. I'm hoping someone here has one so I can hear how they work. |

| I'm not sure what they are called, but there are also alarm systems for pools. I think they work when there are ripples in the water. They are made for babies (if they should happen to fall in), but don't know why they wouldn't work for our furbabies.

| I have one if you would like it. We never installed it. My dad got an alarm for the pool instead. Let me know if you are interested. |

| I forgot to add, when you click on that site, look to the left for the topic of Ramps and Stairs. |

| I have a in ground pool and have my Skamper Ramp anchored to a really heavy elephant planter - I tied the nylon rope around the curled elephant trunk and its working great. Otherwise, my hubby would have had to drill into the cement to install some sort of hooks to tie to. With an above ground pool, you may have to get creative like we did, haha. Best of luck and it is worth getting! |
