| New soon to be Yorkie Mummy! Hi Everyone, I've lurked on this forum for a long time now... I've been researching and trying to get as much info as possible before committing to buying a dog and you guys have given me such a great insight! So now soon the big day will be here and I can go and pick up my new Yorkie puppy! I've been to see her and all her siblings and she just came and curled up in my lap so I guess you could say it was love at first sight!! I'm so excited! But... she is my first dog and with that come all the nerves... I'm busy kitting out the house to make it puppy safe. Is it really as tough as it sounds?? I look forward to reading more of your advice and hopefully with time I'll actually be able to post some tips too! |

| Congratulations on the new pup!!...... Oh ...& welcome to Y.T.! It's not difficult taking care of a yorkie but it does take some special handling as in their diet, hair care, teeth care etc. etc...All the info is here, just keep reading & asking

| How exciting! Shopping was my favorite part! Don't worry, you don't have to decide it all right now, its a learning experience...Although it is nice to plan and have an idea of how things are gonna be when you bring the little one home.
