| I think he will be ok. he is pretty quiet right now and has layed on the couch ever since we brought him home. bob worked for me while i went to get him and then i sent him home with bob. i came home after work and gave him a little bit of water and broke up some food for him. he ate it pretty good and gave him a green bean (he loves those). HE PERKED UP A BIT WHEN I ASKED ONE OF THE OTHERS WHAT THEY HAD. HE STARTED BARKING. that is their usual thing... telling on the others. he didn't bark long tho , i think it hurt his throat. I think ..........hope by tomorrow he will be fine.

| Buckeye thanks you for the good wishes. He feels a bit better today. Yes, it was a cleaning. He is the kind that hardly ever plays and never chews on toys. Only thing he chews on is his dry food. I am not good about brushing his teeth and can never get to the back ones. He fights me and I give in. So his teeth gets a bit dirty before his annual cleaning. I will do a little better about it this time. I sure don't want him losing his life over me not brushing well enough. In a few days he should be back to his normal self.

| I'm glad to hear Buckeye's doing better. Sukoshi's only 8 months, so I haven't had her in for a professional cleaning yet, but I do try to keep them brushed at least once per week before I give her her weekly bath. I know how difficult it is when they start fighting you! |

| yes i have tried the finger tip brush too. that one just don't seem to do much. we will get it done one way or the other. Buckeye is almost his old self again. He sure did look bad. He didn't look this bad when he was neutered. he has had cleanings before but never had this bad a time. Bob says he is not going to get any more. I need to talk to the vet more and find out just what happened and determine how to change things. might be the kind of anestetic used or the amount....I dont' know. I sure dont' know anything about it. bottom line is he is much better today. thanks everyone!

| Poor little guy!! I hope he recovers quickly from this. Make sure they use a gas anesthesia instead of injectable anesthesia, as they wake up much quicker from the gas and is much safer on these little dogs.
