| shampoo find Oh my goodness! I forget who it was said they use "bless the Beast" products. Who ever it was I need to thank you. I bought some and golly is it good on Buckeye. Made him smell good even today. Shiny and the pin brush just glides through his hair. I gave them a bath yesterday morning. Buckeye has not had a tangle yet. I am amazed. Normally after going out in the mornings for their walk (7 or 7:30 a.m.) the grass is so wet here and they get very wet. Hardly ever looks like they have had a bath after a few hours. But this stuff he still looks like he had one today. I sould like an ad on tv huh? Thanks!

| So he went out and played in the wet grass, yet still smelled good and had a good coat? That's pretty amazing right there! |

| Hi I'm glad it worked for you too. Did you purchase it of the internet. I'm placing my first order on the internet today. Normally I get it from the store but they do not sell it in canada anymore. Can you tell me how long it took for you to get it. I think I will also try some of the other products they have too. Yes chester is a happy puppy since we got it and so is my husband as he does not have to brush him so much. I also use it on chelsey too she is a malt an matts a lot more then chester. but i don't worry about matt anymore. I don't know why they don't sell it in all the stores. Enjoy. |

| I didn't even finish the pet silk that i still had left. I was in such a hurry to try this as Buckeye is so hard to brush after the first day of his bath. WE are into the second day and he still has not one tangle. or is it that he doesn't have any do to the fact that i keep combing thru it looking to see if the stuff works or not. LOL. Maybe that is the secret to the whole thing! LOL. I think it took about 2 weeks for it to arrive once I ordered it. YGeorge...Your husband does some of the brushing??? good man you got there.

| Hi ldenise I know what you mean you just can't get over the texture and how it feels so you keep touching a brushing. If you bath him once a week i would say it should be good enough to keep the matts out. I brush chester when i give him a bath with the shampoo. Do not rub the towel when you dry your puppy. p.s yep my Hubby brushes him. and give him a bath when I can't. Only sometimes the matts were missed. Buy the time I got to poor chester... he was in torture. So I'm really greatfull for this product and so is chester and my husband p.s I just order an other bottle as well as the blue shampoo for chelsey as her coat is getting stained from the mulch out in the back yard. I hope it gets here soon.. I'm running out. |

| Where exactly do you get it? Would love something nice. I have a spray bottle of water and conditioner mixed together and every day I spray her with it and then comb. It keeps her good---No knots yet. But her hair isn't long yet either. pat |

| I think you are gonna like the pet silk too. as a matter of fact ahia will be using the rest of what I have and might order some more for her. Her hair is different. It is newer than Buckeye's. LOL . She has not had the aging to hers. she is only 7 months old. Buckeye is 4 yrs old. I haven't really had the time to ruin hers yet.LOL

| Mei Mei, I too have tried the Pet Silk conditioner on Toto. It worked great ... her hair was so silky ... but I keep going back to the Coat Handler's! Don't know why ... just one of those things. I do want to try the Bo Derek's detangling shampoo but can't find anywhere online that pays shipping ... I have a real problem with paying $7 shipping for a $9 bottle of shampoo!! BTW ... bought Cindy Adam's book "The Gift of Jazzy"! It's a GREAT book ... am reading it now ... thanks for mentioning it!!

| It is a great book, although I havn't picked it up in a week and I am only half way through. I love how at the beginning when she got him, she didn't know what to do and then she just fell in love. And it saddens me that just recently she lost Jazzy. As far as shampoo, I have the Coat Handlers 15:1 shampoo, although I am not sure if is doing her any good. Her body hair seems to be more 'wooly' type, thick. Her leg hair and face/topknot seems to be more silky. I need something that is going to keep her from getting tangled/matted. IDenise, You mentioned that both of your Yorkies have different type of hair........Could you tell me which kind of hair and which product works best? Thanks!

| Buckeye is 4 Yrs old so his hair is different from Ahia's (still young). Ahia at this point, I think, can use about anything and not too many problems. Buckeye has a more cottony hair. His dark hair kind of looks like mine if I don't color it. LOL. (and feels like mine if I don't condition it). I started out using the kind that you get in the pet shop. "miracle coat" I think. I thought that was pretty good but still he matted so easilly. Brushing took a long time in the mornings. I hated putting him thru that ordeal. So I was on a search for something that would make it easier to brush. Also something that he wouldn't look like he needed another bath the next day. I got on line and read some of the web pages of show dogs. I kept seeing the Duurstede was good. I orders of of that also. I loved it. Still tangles tho, but less. Then I thought I would try the Pet Silk. I loved that also. I first bought the moisturizer shampoo and cond. I tried the detangler shampoo and conditioner but didn't like that as well on Buckeye. I will use that on Ahia. Like I said, she could use about anything. So with my next order I got the moisturizing again and thought I would stick with that. I still had problems with the matting but just in areas. like under his arms and places where everyone likes to tangle while petting him.(LOL) Then ygeorge said how much she liked it and no matting. I trusted her word on it and glad I did. My husband even boasted about how nice buckeye still looks today and we are at -what- day 3? and still no matting. I think I will stick with "bless the beast" as long as it works. Coat Handler I also hear good things about and think I will try that on Ahia when she uses up all the ones that I have bought for Buckeye. Ha Ha. Guish I have never paid this much for my shampoo and I was a cosmetologist!

| Hi everyone. Here is the link again for the shampoo. http://www.blessthebeasts.net/btb_online.html I know what you mean about shiping and handeling. We have to add 10.00 extra for Canada and then when it gets here we pay an other 15% tax. So I also ordered other stuff to make it worth while. P.s. I also use the shampoo on chelsey as is very pron to matts as she is a maltese. I brush her twich a week and she get extra brusing if she has been running around in the rain. |
