| Help--Bad Hair Day Well---- I just had my little girls first haircut. I am so disappointed in the outcome. I got a groomer recommendation from my vet, thinking that would be a good source, but it didn't turn out so good. She was just so shaggy she needed something done. She is now very "choppy".... I am thinking she still has puppy hair and maybe that is another issue. What to do,,,,, and how do you find a groomer that maybe specializes in yorkies. After the fact is too late!! What can anyone tell me about her puppy hair. |

| I feel your pain....I had my groomer of ten years come and groom Autumn, I insisted that she give her a puppy cut because I thought she would look cute. Well little did I know that my Yorkie would come back wearing a Chihuahua suit. I started to cry. Its been 8 weeks and her hair is coming back very nice but I will never do that again. Maybe you can find a pic of a yorkie cut that you like and show it to the groomer next time. |

| LMBO...My Widgets first hair cut experience..... Our vet recommended a groomer, so I felt confident turning Widget over to her, she didn't cage her, and she was outta there in 2 hours....but just look what we got...... |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have started grooming Cali myself and only send her to a experienced yorkie owner and one time shower every few months for a good grooming. She goes over exactly what she is going do and knows I want her kept long. Pixies coat is a breeze to groom. She has silky, straight and thin coat. I will never take her to a groomer as there is no need. All I can suggest is you clearly state what you want, take pics and stress you do not want her shaved.
