| Do your Dogs Fight? I have two female dogs (a mutt 10 yrs old and a yorkie 3 yrs old) and I have one boy (almost 8 months old). My two females are spayed. My question is I am considering getting another female yorkie but I do not want any fighting. I have a chance to get a 7 month old girl and don't want any problems. The three that I have are very passive and easy going so deep down I know it all depends on personalities but just kind of stressing. Want that little female but don't want fighting. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. |

| No one fought with each other until recently. Kitty has started fighting with Alexis in the last month or so. I don't understand it either. Alexis could be asleep and all of a sudden Kitty has her snatched up trying to kill her. I no longer can let them near each other. Alexis has never offered to fight back she immediatly becomes submissive but Kitty still wants to kill her.

| Kitty is the only one being aggressive so I'm just keeping her away from Alexis. I'm not sure what else to do. Kitty has been through obedience school already so I am clueless. The bad thing is Kitty is 7lb and Alexis is 3lb. Kitty has seriously hurt Alexis to the point that she needed the vet and antibiotics. I'm just too scared to put them back together. I don't want Alexis hurt anymore.

| Has anyrhing changed in your house recentlt to start it? The only thing that is different here is that the pups are growing up. Roxy ( 4 1/2 pds)has always been the boss and usually never really tolerated Gracie (9 lbs) and always rubbed up against her and now I think Gracie is sick of it and will fight back. Its getting ugly though. For example if someone comes to the door and the pups bark it gets them worked up and usually ends up in a fight on the way to the door. My stomach is in a constant knot. They dont act aggresive at all to the pups which are 7 months old but just to each other. When they go at each other its hard to seperate them and blood is usually involved which scraes me. I am thinking I shouls sell my girl pups just in case the adults decide to become aggressive with them when they get older. I am having such a time with this, I feel like a big cry baby. I cry just thinking about placing them but know that something had to change. I love the pups so much but think I owe it to them to have a secure homw where they wont have to go through this possibly later. Any suggestions anyone??? I am in such a loss of what to even think anymore |

| We had a litter of cocker pups born Feb. 17th. Alexis isn't a year old yet and I thought maybe she was coming in heat which caused this but the vet said she's not. Alexis is almost 9mos old now. Kitty is 3 yrs. (Maybe 4 can't remember without looking at her papers.) The first attack Alexis was near the puppies and I thought that maybe Kitty was being protective over them. But then she started doing it every time I let them out together to go potty. Now she does it when ever she's in the same room as Alexis. My stomach is in knots all the time worried about this whole mess. My husband has been out of town since Sept. and she is his dog and maybe she's just upset because her daddy is gone. I don't know at this point.

| Im sorry to hear someone else is going through this too.... it is awful! I have never crated my dogs before but now when I take a shower, or leave the house or cant watch them I have to and boy do they cry. I feel terrible but have to keep them safe too. If I leave I usually just put Roxy in the kennel because Gracie is soooo good with the pups and they absolutely love her.... and no shes not the mom, Roxy is |

| I have a 5month old maltese and an 8 month old yorkie. They tend to play fight alot. I haven't seen anything serious enough to split them up.

| Bridget has been growling at Bella nearly nonstop since she came. No teeth baring and her tail is still wagging. I think Bridget is jealous and trying to show her who's boss. Bella's been completely submissive to her so there's no issue there. I'm just trying to get Bridget to shut up.

| mine never fought until just recently. when it happened the first time, i was shocked. i yelled at them. the next time, i said "NO" then put both of them in a seperate crate. my dogs are not crated, i had them in the room from when i had the puppies. since i said no and placed each one of them in the crate immediately, there has been no more fighting. we will see if it happens again.
