| My Yorkie Knows.. what does yours know? Layla knows with 100% certainty that: Each morning her face is being cleaned whether she likes it or not and every night we are brushing those teeth!! Grandpa means play time Grandma is always good for more than one treat! When Mommy is done her supper she will give her a piece of whatever is left on the plate, but she has to be polite and not beg. When she hears the microwave going it means bed time Every morning i'll *coax* her from her sleep After a poop we have a party and a treat (you should see her bee-line it inside) She is not going to like whatever happens at the vet (she sees the building and starts to shake) Her Mommy, Grandma and Grandpa love her more than anything and always will. What does your Yorkie know for sure? |

YT 500 Club Member | My Yorkie knows that on weekdays, when I turn the TV off, it means that I am going to work; she goes right into her house! She knows that if it is late (I think she can tell time) meaning 10:00, she will get a piece of cat food (it works!) to get her to go outdoors for one last potty before bedtime. She knows that after her last potty, and the lights in the living room go off, it is time to run down the hall to the BIG bed! She knows that when you go through a drive-thru, you get an ice cream cone. But she doesn't know that most drive-thru's only give dog treats. She doesn't know the difference between the bank and McDonald's! |

| Millie knows... 1. That when it is 8m she is getting her paddy wack. (although she keeps trying to move up the time to around 7-7:30pm ) We call it a Chewy and if we say the word she knows what that means. 2. If I take out the yellow towel and shampoo and conditioner bottles, she is getting a bath and she beelines it out the doggie door and outside, so we can't catch her. 3. She gets a Beggin Strip in the mornings when we leave for work. (she can hardly wait to get us out the door) 4. She gets her walky-walky as soon as we get home from work. (I swear that is the only reason she is happy to see us) 5. That mommy will protect her from that Big Bad Cat! 6. That when mommy goes to bed she gets another Beggin Strip (but she has to get in bed to get it). 7. She is to lay quietly, by mommy at bed time and chew her pig ear or her bully stick and relax. 8. If she has to potty in the middle of the night, she stands on mommy in the bed and whimpers until mommy wakes up to take her out. 9. If she sits quietly in the kitchen on her special rug while mommy works there, she will get her chicken treats. 10. If she has dingleberries on her tush, that mommy will clean them off. 11. That mommy and daddy love her so so so much!!

| Yorkies are so smart, I believe they have our daily schedule down pat. Buddy knows: 1.When the alarm goes off it's time to get up and go for a walk. He jumps all over me with puppy kisses and jumps onto the floor running towards the closet for his leash.(forgets he's not suppose to be on the bed) 2.After I wash the coffee pot out he knows it's time to brush his coat and get his teeth brushed. He comes on his own at this time and sits by my feet waiting for me to dry the coffee pot. 3.After brushing his teeth he runs to the cupboard and sits waiting for his breath mint! 4.When he sees me take out his blue towel from the linen closet he runs under the blue chair where it's hard to pull him out for his bath. 5.When he hear's the word "coming" he runs to the door and goes nuts. 6.At 8:00pm every night he sits in front of me telling me it's time for his nightly treat! If I ignore him he wimper's. 7.He knows all his toys by their name. Ball, baby, hedgehog, bone etc. 8.He knows he is not allowed on the bed to sleep with me anylonger but has creeped back up there when I turn the light out. He jumps up about a minute after the light goes out and thinks I don't know. I won't tell him I do know because I love him back with me. 9.When I blow dry my hair in the am he gets sad because he knows it's almost time for me to leave him and lays with his head between his paws looking up at me. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Ozzie isn't the brightest bulb in the pack but he knows a lot more than we give him credit for . Things like: *Bonies (The treats he gets after each meal). *Ice cream (if you SAY the word, but don't give him any, God help you.) *Bus -- both the word and which one is supposed to bring me home. He waits and waits and listens intently as they pass. If I'm not there when thinks I'm supposed to be he starts following my mom around wanting her to make me appear. *Meal time. Depending on how hungry he is, he will start barking as much as 30 minutes beforehand. * Baby -- Our word for toy, since most of them ARE creatures. * "The door is closing ..." -- If I say that phrase, he will charge into my room. He sleeps with me and usually, he follows me around to let me know we should be going to bed. Some nights though he wanders off and if he isn't ready when I am, I say that phrase and man, he shows up quick! * The cat. His big brother Tigger likes to try to kill him so they have to be kept apart. He is faring much better with baby brother Toby thanfully! If you say "the cat" or "Tigger" and ask him if he likes him, Ozzie will growl a "no." It is hilarious. |
