| Not on my DRY CLEAN ONLY bedspread! Fellow Mums, This morning Theo tried to wake me up, but it's my day off, so I went back to sleep. About an hour later he peed all over my feet in bed--through the bedspread, sheets, and right down to the mattress! I am beside myself! Was this an act of vengeance? Even as a potty training pup he never made any messes in my bed (where he sleeps every night). Not to mention--what in the world should I do with my bedspread?! How can I ever get my mattress clean? Sleeping in a toilet bowl, Theo's Mum

| Sounds like he tried to tell you. Definitely Dry-clean the bedspread and use a carpet cleaner on your mattress. If you dont have one you can usually rent them from the grocery store w/the attachments! Good luck!!! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Wipe down the spread as best you can by dabbing it (to absorb what may be left) and get cleaned ASAP. Both BEFORE and AFTER you launder your sheets, spray them with some kind of urine-be-gone spray. (I've always been told that laundering alone will NOT remove the scent completely for the dog.) As for mattress, dab up excess first. put some upholstery cleaner like someone said AND some bathroom tub and tile (Lysol/Dow, whatever) and wipe with damp cloth. Then spray with urine-be-gone and let dry. GOOD LUCK! |

| I also think you should vacuum at least once a day. Hope it works.

| Sounds like you've gotten some pretty good advice but remember, in the future..... this is why we have a waterproof mattress pad on our bed. Not one of those old-timey crinkly ones. It's actually very comfortable. You just never know when an accident with your dog can happen. Luckily we haven't had any with Tatum on our bed but I feel better knowing the mattress is protected. I know that doesn't help you much in your case but might help others reading this. Good luck!!

| I highly doubt Theo peed on your bed out of vengeance. He prolly just really HAD to go and was too scared to jump off the bed to do it on the floor. I concur wtih the suggestions above on cleaning your bedspread/sheets/matress. |
