My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Yup! They DESTROYED the floor!! So after work I'll be on my way to Lowes to get another room size piece of linolium! I'm currently using my office as the puppy room and its carpeted so I bought a room sized sheet of linolium and covered the carpet to protect it. WELL ! Little by little they have been tearing the floor apart! LOL. So each time I'd take the piece that they tore out, chewed up and magled and pieced it back together with clear packing tape. Well today, I went home on my lunch to let them out, and they went over board....there is no more patchin'!!! The little buggers!!!! Its too embarressing to even show you a photo! We are in the process of finishing our basement, which its almost done but not quite, and they are getting their own room down there, thats much bigger. But I'm not moving them down until I move my office down, and we have the family room set up down there . Soooooooooooooo until we are ready to move furniture down, its off to Lowes to buy another piece to cover my carpet! How long do you think this piece will last???????? |

| I wouldn't put them on any carpet, and for their new room downstairs, I'd have it tiled. Easy to clean and they can't chew it up. |

| If I was you i would have a rethink about the lino. If your babies pee on it after a while it starts to stink of urine, because beleive it or not you may think you have cleaned it all up but some actully seeps into it, and after awhile youll have to lift it again because you cant get rid of the smell. I would take the advice of yorkiedaze and have it tiled

| Awwwwwww. Silly babies. When I went to get ZsaZsa from her breeder she said her husband was very angry and the pups had to go, they had chewed holes in the carpet in the middle of her living room. Guess they needed more chew toys. LOL

| I just wanted to say the My little boy chewed the Linolium on my kitchen floor and it is glued down! Just make sure you babyie are okay cause linolium can have dry glue on the backside of it to help it to stick to the floor when laid down.

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Thanks for the info! Theres no glue on the stuff they are chewing...its just laying on top of my carpet so they can't get to my carpet My carpet is new and untouched...they just went to town on the linolium! They will have more room in their new room, so I'm hoping they don't feel the need to chew on the new floor |
