how do you choose your new puppies birthday do you go by the day you got him or your birthday or what the place you got him from said his birthday is???????????????????

My first one was a stray so I went by the day I found her. I knew my 2nd ones DOB from his papers.

i go by the date of the papers, the actually date she was born.

I used their actual birthdate on their AKC registration papers. If you get a registered pup their birth date should be on there. If not, you could ask your breeder when they were born and he/she should know.
If you get one from a shelter and they don't know you could use the day you bring them home or just a day that means something special to you.

what if you got them from a petstore do they know the birth date?????

They should know the birthdate. but with petstores one can't be sure. So I guess you can just pick a datre, or use the date you adopted him.

If the pet store told you they were AKC, then they should have papers.
But pet stores are not real honest or reliable, so they could tell you anything, or give you some other dogs papers.
