| Humping is a correctable behavior. make him/her stop. Is it a boy or girl? Are they spayed/neutered? How old? Do you plan to breed. If it is spayed/neutered then humping is just as sign of dominance. If they are humping on you it is a sign that they do not view you as the pack leader. When you catch them, treat it as you would any other bad behavior. |

| When I would catch my little boy I would clap my hands & say no. If that didn't stop the behavior I would say no & spray him with a little water (cold shower hehe).

| This is correctable behavior. and girls will do it also. And it definitely needs to be discouraged. My boy is an intact male, and the only time he humps is when my female is in heat. Just use your hand as a mouth and give them a nip (pinch) on the shoulder. |

| I've never had either of mine hump and I have a boy and a girl... Jewelina isn't spayed yet but is only 6 months old and Jaden is nuetered. Perhaps if you have it done at an earlier age it prevents this kind of behavior. I've also heard proper training can teach them it is a "no-no" and they will learn not to do it. |
