| Will he get attatched to other people??? I'm getting my baby in about a month, but I have a question. I feel kind of weird asking it, because its like I'm greedy over my dog's attention. But 've worked so hard, and waited so long for my baby, I just really want him to be MY baby. First some background info: I go to class M-F from about 9 am-12 pm, and during this time Wilbur will be by himself. (By the time school starts again, he'll be 5 months old, so I'm hoping he'll be old enough) 5 days a week, I work at a retirement home frome 4-7 pm, and then I work for an elderly woman that lives there from 7-10 pm. The elderly woman has begged me to let her babysit him, so from 4-7 she will watch him, and from 7-10 he'll stay with me while I work. So my question is: will he get attatched to the elderly woman, since he's spending so much time with her? I mean, he's still spending more time with me, and I'll be the one feeding, grooming, pottytraining, etc... But I just worry that he'll think that he has more than one mommy...Will he? Am I being silly for even thinking this way?

| Oh my gosh, you are so lucky to have her offer that. I think that once you get your baby, you will be thrilled to have some help / extra attention for your baby. He will always know that you are his mommy and love you more but I think it will be good for him to have other attachments as well. He will be more social plus he won't have to spend much time alone. I say go for it. |

| I think your baby will be just fine!! It will be very good for him Our yorkie, Miko, is my baby and my husband's baby, but he looooves to see his grandmothers and his aunts and uncles!! He used to spend a lot of time with them, not more than with us, of course, but he just gets so excited when he gets to see them. It's so cute!

| I keep my sons and his wife Yorkie during the week. They come pick her up on Friday afternoon and as soon as one of them walk in she is all over them. She doesn't do this with vistors but she does with her Mama and Daddy. That is so sweet of the lady wanting to babysit. It will help you out and maybe she is lonely and that why she offered. Sounds like it will great for all involved.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | dont' worry she'll still know who her momma is. its great that you have someone who offered to watch her while you work. think of it this way, would you rather she stay at home alone while your working? this will be great socialization for her and she'll love to have someone to play with

| Oh believeeee me, you have NOTHING to worry about! I was the same way with you.. when I was at school, I would have my lil sis (10yrs old) watch Princess and I was worried Princess would get more attached to her than me, but nope she knows who her mommy is and even though she spends more time with my lil sis, she still favors her mommy |

YT Addict | I definitely wouldn't worry about it. I go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am - 2pm (on Tuesdays) and 8am - 7pm (on Thursdays) and when I first got Teddy, I wondered about the same thing. I thought maybe he would forget about me, and bound with my sister because she saw him throughout most of the day. But the 3 weeks I spent with him before I started school in the fall were enough for him to fall in love with me. Even with the addition of Theresa, he still is MY dog. You know? Theresa gets along with everyone but Teddy will only come to me. So, I'm just letting you know the dog knows whose boss.... at least my Teddy does. Don't fret. Ashley
