This story is so sad. I dont understand how laws are for cruelty to animals is some states, they don't make any sense. This man Murder this poor little Yorkie using his Rottie as a weapon. The law should take his dog away and put this man in jail. This Yorkie was like a child to this woman. Im so angry and sad . Please give my condolences to the lady. Rest in peace .

These are the worst stories and it may be true that all the police can do is make the man pay for the value of the dog, but she has every right to sue him civilly for intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and malice! She could ruin him financially if she can prove her side of the story! I would encourage her to do so. I would be willing to offer whatever legal advice I can if you PM me and put me in contact with her. His behavior was dispictable and if he is not made to pay now, he will think he can get away with it and possibly do it again! I am so sorry for the loss of little Reeses.

He's a MURDERER! A cold-blooded murderer! Now if Reeses was a person things would be soo different! I think this man should go to jail or something. To me, my Yorkies are people. Please, comfort the woman for me. She needs all the comfort she can get. This story is absolutely horrible. I can't imagine what I'd do if this happened to me. Please, God, escort him safely to the rainbow bridge and take care of him. Last edited by Midge5353; 05-28-2005 at 04:30 PM.

I was asking my mother if they had said anything else, and sure enough she's getting her lawyer on it as well. Thanks again for all the condolences

Oh no These are the kind of people that give certain dogs bad names. I can't believe that he did that one purpose, I would kill him!!! I don't care! To be certain, I would immediately press charges against him, and for sure you could take him to small claims court and I know that there isn't any amount of money that would replace Reese, but I would go for all I can get! Make him pay if there is no other recourse. He should be thrown in jail . No amount of time will ever cover up what happened...Theresa & The Boys

I don't know what to say. I would sue this guy and if he's not the owner I'd find him and sue him too, for letting this irrisponsible(sp) ************* walk his dog. I'm sure someone somewhere loves this dog and I'm sure someone knows that this dog had this capability. No dog just out of the blue does something like this, there are signs that any owner can see and knows that it means things are not right with their dog. Midge: Please, God, escort him safely to the rainbow bridge and take care of him. I miss read this and thot you were praying to God to escort the owner safely to He**. Sorry, I had tears in my eyes. Still it's a good thot in my book, hehehe. (That's a sinister hehehe) My condolences to Reeses owner as well. Sylvia
