| OMG Another recall! Salmonilla now....I think the company is All in one....a pet got sick off treats and they are sold at Walmart/Target and others...... If you don't know about this, I can get better info.....I am seriously losing my mind over this crap!

YT Addict | Oh My! My question is how can we find out what treats are affected? Brands, Types ie: wet or dry and also have they all been taken off the shelves yet? |

| i'm gonna just start making maggies food for her. Not only is this scary but i've yet to find a dog food of any kind that she actually seems to like and i've wasted so much money buying them and throwing out most of it or giving it to my sister and her daughter for their dogs.my sister has one schnauzer, her daughter has one schnauzer and a little poodle. their all toys but they eat good. so from now on, i'm not gonna waste my money on dog food much less waste it while taking a chance on killing her. This recall crap is ridiculous. What is it with all these food companies in the world, and not just dog food, but seems we've been hearing more and more recalls on people food and medicines lately. I'm concerned for people and pets lately.

| They were talking about making your own dog food on the news this morning. They said the most important thing was to get a recipe from a 'pet nutritionist' so you're sure your dog is getting everything it needs...they said dogs are very sensitive to not getting the right vitamins/minerals/ingredients so please check with someone first. |

| This is from a local news channel's website. http://www.katu.com/news/national/6818087.html The part about salmonella is at the end of the article. The company is Eight in One and they are recalling Dingo brand dog, cat and ferret treats. "The company says the bacteria could infect both animals and people handling the food." |

| Good! That's the one reason I haven't started cooking for my boyz...I'm not sure I would get everything they need in a recipe...although, I do have a few that I may look into a little more now. So far the food we use isn't included in any recall but from the way things look you just never know. |

| I wish that Walmart and or Target would get a website up and give better info on Exactly what food/brands are recalled. It's time these companies become responsible instead of pet owners running around crazy not knowing if they are killing their dogs! Right now I have Cookie eating Evanger's Dog food ,it's canned. I have not heard anything about this food brand being recalled. Walmart or Target does not carry this food and it's only sold in Pet Boutiques or online. If ANYONE has heard anything at all about this Brand please post it! Like I said Cookie's eating this and he seems to really ,really like it! It smells like human food. Well all the ingredients are human grade,no preservatives and good stuff in it only.
