| In case of Emergency I was trying to find if a topic was ever discussed here, couldn't find anything... But if you live alone and let's say, you have a car accident or emergency and your babies are home alone, what happens? Do you have someone to look after your babies? Also, if you travel with your dog in the car and have an accident and are unconscious and taken to hospital, what happens to the dog?? If they get you out the car and into hospital, do they tend to the dog as well?? Sorry if that weirded you out, I had such weird dreams last night...

| That's a valid concern. I would recommend you type up clear instructions and leave copies in your wallet with your ID, your car and your home. And be sure your immediate family and friends know what to do in case of emergency also.

| I am a Nurse and it has been confirmed by paramedics to put the telephone number after ICE in your cell phone of the person you want to be notified in the event you are in a A/A and cannot speak for yourself and are alone. For example if someone would scroll down in my cell phons addresses they would find ICEHUBBYJOE and it would have his cell phone number programed in. I also have my Sons telephone number programed in under ICESONCHRIS. Paramedics have been trained across the country to look for ICE on cell phones incase of emergency. Have your loved ones program their cell phone today. |

| I keep printed instructions in my wallet and my glove box when we travel...it has names and phone numbers for emergency contacts and information of who to call for my boyz. We had an accident in '02 and they wanted to take Boog to animal control or a vet to be held but I refused to leave without him. He went in the ambulance with me, they checked him out, they called our son and he took Boog from me as I was being rolled into the ER on the gurney. He walked right inside with him and he stayed there until our son took him home a short time later...our daughter-in-law's Mom watched him until we were released later that day. I would have worried about him all day long if he would have been in a strange place with people he didn't know after something like that. |
