| soo nervous... ahhhh, roxie goes for her spay tomorrow, and I'm a wreak. She went and stayed at the vet all day last thursday due to her intestinal lining pushing out of her rear, now she gets to go again tomorrow, to have surgery. I'm so scared. I talked to the vet yesterday, and he suggested having a catheter and IV, but i kinda got confused on the whole thing, he said it was to keep her fluids level, and monitor her blood pressure. He said its alot safer to have this done, and im also opting to have the blood work done before hand. Its gonna be around 335 for the whole thing, which ive read some of you get it done for way cheaper. The spay is 251 minus 25% off for having it done before 6th months, then around 45-50 for blood work, and then an extra 100 for the catheter. Her last weeks vet bill was 90. It gets stressful sometimes even thinking about her vet bills. argggghhh |

| I am sure Roxy will do fine with her surgery so try not to worry too much. It sounds like you have a good vet who is prepared. I know what you mean about the costs of vet bills and stress. Everytime I go in it seems like I am putting out another$100 and my shots were all paid for prior in a puppy package. My vet charges 200 for the spay. Its probably gonna be more than that though because of removal of baby teeth. I hope everything goes smooth for your little Roxy. Keep us posted.
