| I absolutely hate this! I just want to vent for a moment, okay? May I say that I love this breed? I love showing them, breeding them, just looking at my babies makes me smile. Watching a little mommy growing, feeling the pups move inside her, helping them into the world, watching them grow. I even love sending them off to their new homes and having the new owners call and tell me how thrilled they are with their new babies. But Cricket is in the hospital right now getting spayed and I hate it! She just didn't get big enough to be a mommy, she's just meant to be a little princess. I don't even resent all the money I'm losing in my investment in her. This is her third surgery in 8 monthes and I'm just sick for her! I know this is what is best for her, it will protect her in the long run but bless her heart she's been through so much. I don't even mind rehoming her because I know I'll find her a great forever home, I just hate to see her cut on again! Well thanks for letting me vent, I feel better cause I know you Yorkie moms out there will understand.

| Where in Virginia? I work in Lynchburg . . . have two Yorkies and a newly acquired Cairn Terrier (whew, what a difference in Terrier personalities!) I have a friend looking for an 'older' (not a wee-pup) Yorkie, already housebroken. He had the grandmom of my two, but she was put to sleep last year because of cancer. I know they would give her a great home if you are interested. |

| Tami, I just got your pm you sent. I havent been on much lately. Sorry to hear Cricket is in the hospital again but it is for the best I think. I am sorry and know how disappointed you are. She is such a little trooper for having gone through so much in her young life. Keep your chin up. Give Kileys little sis a kiss for us. |

| Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Cricket moaned some last night but seems determined to keep up with the others today. She's walking on her bad leg more and more ( she had surgery for Legge-perthes disease). I'm actually relieved that she's spayed now. I wouldn't want her and Connor to have an accident. At only 3.5 pounds it could be fatal. As soon as she's recovered she'll go to her new home. I must admit I'll miss her, she's my little snuggle bun.

| Thank you for being such a carefull breeder. I wish all breeders were that way. It's more about the animal to you than about the money. What a great way to be. These little babies need help sometimes and you made the right choice. God Bless you for loving your babies. I feel the same way about mine. They are like my Children and It would hurt me for something to happen to them when I had control over it. Way to go!!! |
