| vet assistant I went for an interview for vet assistant training yesterday and they told me I could work there. I have to be trained for 200 hours without pay. But.. I just found out that I have to wear scrubs. I would LOVE to have pictures of my animals on these scrubs. Does anyone know anyone who can personalize them like that? |

| suggestion A lot of t-shirt shops in the malls will do it. Just take them the shirt and they will do it. You can also search your local yellow pages. In the yellow pages, look under embroidery, or engraving. I did that and made a pillow for my aunt with our picture on it...she lives in another country. |

| Krystenah, I am in Mo., up by Branson. I grew up in Tucson, AZ. Out there even the vet assistants have to go to college. We've been out here 3 years and I was wondering if getting training straight thru the vets office is common out here? Sylvia (thanks) |

| Yup, I think we are on another forum and I listed under my name as "formerly of Tucson, AZ." I just hadn't emailed you directly. Where in Tucson are you? I grew up on the northwest side and ended up way out on the south side before we moved out here. Sylvia |

| You might not be able to get your scrubs silk-screened like a tshirt because they have to be certain standards and that might not meet (ask the vet you are working for) but if you can't you could always take a picture to someone who does embroidery and they could probably make it into a template and put it on the pockets of the shirt or something...

| I didn't see any Yorkies but I did like the gecko one. I like geckos. The last two places we lived in Tucson, AZ had geckos. I wanted to transplant some out here or keep them in a fish tank. I didn't transplant any because I didn't know what the wildlife was like out here and I didn't want to bring them out here just to have them eaten. And I couldn't catch any before we left to put them in a tank. LOL Oh, but they're cute little things. I have been to several pet shops out here and haven't found any just like the ones in Tucson. | We live in Continental Ranch now which is NW!! I-10 and ina/cortaro basically. We like it out here but if we stayed in Tucson would want to live on the NE side (lol who wouldnt), I think we will eventually go to Phoenix! Speaking of geckos (this is so random) but my friend makes the most AMAZING and CUTEST gecko harnesses ever, if you love geckos they are a must |

| They have this printer paper that works like iron-on-transfers. I used it once to make a quilt for my mom for Christmas. It works really well. You can get the paper where you buy regular printer paper. You just print the pictures you want then you could iron them onto pain scrubs yourself. You could do regular pictures or play around with your pictures and do some really neat stuff with them. I would just check on the package about washing the clothes, I'm pretty sure you can but not positive.
