| Our Toto is a cuddlebug .... but also very hyper! She reacts to us. When we are settled in .... watching TV, not feeling well, etc., she anticipates what we are feeling and acts accordingly. She is just the sweetest little thing we could imagne! Yours will probably begin to read you and react accordingly!

| Archie is very snuggly -- he loves to be in my lap or on my shoulder. But he is VERY busy otherwise! I let him in bed with me for a while each morning before we get up, and he cuddles up to me as close as he can under the covers or crawls up onto my chest and rests his little head on my shoulder to snooze. This is just divine! Have you tried letting your pup snuggle with you in bed (maybe not all night, but if you take a nap or early in the morning before your day begins)? That may encourage him to be more of a cuddle bug. Anyway, each pup is different and I'm sure he makes up for it in other ways!

| I wish! Even my very attached 3 year old doesn't cuddle much. Hurts my feelings sometimes! Yet she wants to cuddle on HER terms, when she feels like it, but not when I want her to. In fact, she will come into the TV room where my hubby and I are, look at us to make sure we are still there, we will call her, and she'll turn and walk away and go to her bed or to her "thrown" - my chaise in the other room! Crazy I think! Not really the puppy either Do you are "train" your dog to want to be on your lap, or just let them do what they feel based on their personality?

| If he is young that could be why. Chachi wasnt a cuddler when he was a baby but became more of a cuddler as he got older. Jewels has always been a cuddler

| My female, Hoku, cuddles on 'her terms' - usually if she's tired. My little male, Kalani, could live in my lap 24/7 - he's a real Mama's boy

| It really depends on their age, personality and whether they are busy or not. Yorkies are Terriers and Terriers are very busy in general They have a lot of work to do and very little time to relax and cuddle, at least that is what I think of mine He is still young like 9 months old so he loves to explore even his own home, every single day and every single thing, the same things over and over again. One luggage bag can keep him busy for days checking it out and figuring it out He even has to check out his own food bowl every day even if its empty. He has to overturn it which is hard because the bowl has a rubber base and see if there is anything hiding underneath it. He'll asks for a pet or two, asks to go for walks but seldom asks for cuddles He is not hyper though, just busy

| Peanut thinks that she is part of my lap, a permanent fixture. Toby is very hyper and will cuddle only occassionally. He can play fetch for what seems like an eternity and will actually fall asleep with the toy in his mouth. LOL!

| I wish my pup was more of a cuddler... He's very hyper, even though I see he's getting better as he got older. A few months ago, he wouldn't even let me pick him up. Always too busy playing, running, throwing his stuff around or jumping. Pepper's 9 months now and slowly calming down. I hope that tendency will last
