I really wasn't feeling good, and decided to go upstairs and go to sleep, it was about 9:30 or so and I pull the covers out and theirs a pee-stain! Rocky snuck upstairs and peed on the bed!!! It was still wet, so he mustve just done it. I was sooo mad! Alls I wanted to do was go curl up in bed and pass out, and I couldn't! I don't get why he would do this though, because he also sleeps in the bed

Then I had to wait 3hours to get the sheets/comforter cleaned.

That does suck when all you want to do is crawl into your bed. I am going to buy a secomd mattress pad so if any of them get sick on the bed I can quickly change the bed

Aww, I'm sorry! Like Archie said, hopefully he won't make it a habit. You might want to purchase an extra mattress just in case something like that happens. Marty got sick one night in bed, but luckily we had an extra set of sheets and stuff so we didn't have to stay up all night. Just a suggestion.

Unfortunatly, this isn't the first time he's done this

I really don't understand why he does this because HE sleeps on my bed w/ us. He's able to jump on and off the bed, so I don't think it's because he's stuck up there. He doesn't do it often, but once in a blue moon he will do it

It's just before he did it during the day so I had time to wash the blankets. Nothings gotten onto my mattress yet (crossing fingers) but my boyfriend did mention buying a new one just incase. I think I'm gonna have to get plastic sheets!

Anyone got any advice on how I can stop him from doing this???

My female cat did that to us couple times, many years ago, the last time she did, we catch her in the act, we told her NO, NO, BAD GIRL, we put her in the bathroom (that's where the cat litter is) for some time and after that she didn't do it anymore, we also, purchased couple plastic cover (jcpenney) just in case. Oh we also took her to the vet just to ck that she didn't have any UTI etc, and she was fine, thank God.

We block off the bedroom with a baby gate until bedtime. I don't want to risk any accidents on the bed, so Mia is not allowed unless supervised.

We have double doors in our bedroom, and I would just close them, but I think since our house is still settling the doors are messing up, and even if their both locked you can just push the door open, and Rocky unfortunatly learned that trick (He's actually the one who showed my boyfriend and I about it). I'm thinking of getting one for the stairs though.

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to this forum, and this is my 1st post, but I can relate to this thread totally..I was wondering if you have any other pets, or a visitor at the time? My Yorkies do this sometimes, and it's usually in the bed that our other pets have slept on, so I figured that they were just marking a territory that they regard as theirs..they also do this if a visitor has walked past this room, so I imagine they are saying-'This is my property, and although I might not be sleeping here tonight, it doesn't mean that you can pinch my favourite spot!).
