| Going to the Beach ... So.. It's my day/night off (I haven't slept yet).. and the weather is so perfect. to go to the beach!!! Oreo & Ginger have all their shots up to date, except rabies shot. Does it matter? is it not safe? The beach I go to, there aren't many dogs.. actually not any when i've went.. maybe one dog walking around with an owner but thats it. They've also had their Giardia shots. I only have a harness for them at the moment. Should I get a Small Collar with their ID Tags just incase they frollick away from me? (I have the ID tags already made, just no collars and it doesn't fit on the harness)... I'm planning to go to Redondo Beach if any of you have ever heard of it. I've never taken my furbabies to the beach, what should I expect? What should I Bring just in case for emergencies, and for outta the water stuff? |

| I brought Kali to the beach last summer when she was only 4 months - and she loved it - she had the best time digging in the sand. I had lots of water there for her and a "beach umbrella" she could stay under. She would not go into the water though, the sea is scary - it moves In Denmark we can't get rabies vaccine until they are 1 year old but I wasn't afraid since I look very intimidating to any creature who gets near my dog and luckily it's not allowed to have dogs at the beach without a leash Looking forward to hearing your experiences on the beach Mette |
