| New Family Addition " Hi " Everyone, just wanted to share that Friday night we adopted a Shih Tzu from rescue. He only weighs about 9 lbs is mostly all black with a little grey mixed in. He's such a sweetheart. Haven't heard him bark once. Rudy didn't know what to think at first but now their actually playing together. A little rough at times, but it's a start. Rudy does enough barking for both of them. I'll try and post some pictures next week, when the girls in here at work can help me.

| Oh I am soo happy for you, and what a lucky little guy to have found you. I love Shih Tzu's, in fact, if I weren't obsessed with Yorkies I would have two little smushy Shih Tzu faces looking up at me instead. Can't wait to see pictures!

| I have a shih tzu.... she is precious ..,, my advice to you is to get her fixed asap.... I have had 4 shih tzus ,one was 16 fixed died of old age, two I had died at age 14 with mammy tumors ..,, they were 9 months apart and died 6 months apart,,,the one I have now is 3 yrs old she developed a mammry right after her first heat...I had always heard to wait until then to get them fixed.... Then I found the Yorkies ..,,, I love my shih tzu but the Yorkies are so so so so sweet...., they are boys and one got fixed at 6 months and the new baby is 3.5 months old weighs 1.5 and testicles have not dropped yet... |

| " Thank You " so much everyone. We are beyond excited and happy with him. Can't wait to get home tonight from work to see his cute little face and hold him. I'm excited to show him off to all of you. Of course, I'll have to show Rudy off in the pictures also.

| Congratulation on your new addition. I loooove shihtzus. I have 4 of them. They are the sweetest dogs. My 5th is a yorkie. She is totally different in personality from the shihtzus, but all get along great together. If I had to get another dog, I would have a hard time choosing between a shihtzu and a yorkie. Joan |
