| Welcome to YT!!!! You are doing the right thing by researching a lot first before buying! Please dont buy from anyone selling "teacups"! A yorkie is a yorkie.. I think as long as it's healthy then size shouldnt matter |

| im in CA and I cannot recommend a good breeder but I can warn you against a bad one. Please do not purchase your puppy from www.poshpuppy.info they are in Tarzana. They lie a lot. I bought my pup there and have had a lot of issues. They are also way overpriced. Also I would just like to commend you for doing all your research first. | most breeders i have found that advertised teacups when i was searching for my baby had puppies of average size and were just calling them teacups. so breeders in my area seem to think that as long as they are below standard yorkie size then they are teacups. which is not what id refer to as a teacup they would be standard size. i think we need a term for the smaller yorkies because obviously they do occur and obviously their are some people out there who would prefer the smaller size. I dont honestly think it should be treated like a cus word like it is on this site but it shouldnt taken and abused by breeders who breed for the smaller size and forget all about the health of the poor puppies they will bring into this world. |
