| Maximus...a momma's boy...??? Okay..Maximus is funny because although my bf spends as much time if not more with Maximus (he comes home to feed him everyday at lunch, which I don't get to do)...Maximus tends to follow me around..and when I come home he runs to me and wants to lay next to me etc..., this is all fine until last night when he started freaking out when I would go to the bathroom or kitchen (my bf was still in the livingroom with him)....he WANTED to walk with me....unforunately he is not 100% potty trained or I would let him roam and follow but he had a fit...usually if we both get up stimontaneously (1 to go to bathroom, 1 to get a drink) he will whine and bark for us to come back in but never when one of us is there in the same room also. IS Maximus picking a favorite...do your puppies do that and then grow out of it...I don't know why, we both give him lots of attention and love..and I would even say my bf plays a little more with him then I do |

| I am currently reading If Dogs Could Talk by Vilmos Csanyi and in the first chapter he is talking about wild dogs and domest dogs' instinct. He says that domestic dogs pick an Alpha leader in the household and stick by the leaders side. So obviously your dog thinks your the Alpha leader, which could be a good thing or bad thing (up to you I guess). But my dog does the same thing, no matter who has been around all day he acts like he hasn't seen me in weeks. . .shows their dedication I guess. . .

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Well, when I leave, Gracie just looks at me and Chester will start shaking. He's always had seperation anxiety. They overly greet me when I get home. They'll hang out with the hubby and kids, but they really couldn't care less who comes and goes. Also, when I go, they will wait for me to say, "Come on!" Then they know they get to go for a ride! |

| I have a Mama's boy too...This was suppose to be my husbands dog. He picked him out and was so attentive to him but it didn't matter the puppy likes me to the point that it's like he is attached with velcro to me. If I get out of the car to use the ATM and he can even still see me he still has an absolute fit and whines like I am getting on a boat to China or something. My husband can leave and it's like he says See Ya! I drop my daughter off at school and he looks at her like are you going to get out or what? It's just me he goes bananas over and I am not complaining. I never planned to love him as much as I do but really how do you resist? I even canceled my trip to Jamaica this year because Teddy would hate me being gone for a week and I honestly can't imagine being away from him a week either. Memorial Weekend around our house is a big weekend as my husbands birthday and our wedding anniversary always falls near it and this year we couldn't find any place Teddy friendly to suit us so again we are staying home. And to think I couldn't wait until my kids grew up and I had the freedom to come and go as I pleased....LOL! |

| Me, too! Max is MINE. LOL He loves the girls & my husband, too, but he goes gaga for me & only me. In the mornings when he wakes up, he shakes from the second he sees me until I scoop him up for some hugs. It's adorable! Everyone else thinks it's nonsense, of course, but they're just jealous. LOL
