Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Good Morning All ! Any news on the Surgery re: Max's Mom ? I was just checking to see if anyone here has heard how the surgery went...I thought maybe starting a post here... then as updates come in, someone can post them. I know she won't be able to for a while, but I'm hoping everything went great and the surgery did what it was susposed to do. I've really had her in my thoughts, as I know you all have, and wishing the best for her and her family ! Thanks. |

| thank you thank you Not feeling too spiffy tonight but went online for a minute or two. I so appreciate your kind words and thoughts. I had lumpectomy yesterday. The lab results will be back on Monday morning.....so this is a long weekend. The mass was smaller than it appeared on mammogram...so that is good news. Although it is cancer.....I believe that it is early enough that I will have a better outcome than we all first thought. I will stay in Oklahoma City for radiation unless the lymph glands show widespread metastasis. I hope that is unlikely. In that case...I will probably go to Houston. Little Max and Maggie have been staying home just fine. He can escape her hopping, biting and constant attention by jumping up on the couch. I also bought an old playpen to put her in at times when we all need a break. Max remains my little fur nurse....he is the best antidepressant on the market!!!!!! Maggie is a lovely little darling......but wilder than a "March hare" (whatever that is) I have to take her energy in small doses because I am sore.....but they both have blessed my life. All of you have been a blessing as well.....I have bragged and bragged about you and this forum.......people can't believe that others, whom most of us have not met, have been so willing to sacrifice time and energy to help me and the little ones. Whether I ever have to take you up on it....just know that you have lessened a very stressful situation. Even my husband has been deeply touched.....he was talking about this to one of our neighbors yesterday. The love of Yorkies binds us together!!! Max's and Maggie's mom

| Glad to know you are up and about. Our furbabies have a second scent when something isn't right. I know they are a great comfort to you. Hang in there Monday will be here before you know it. You are in our prayers and I am sending you good thought from Texas. Take care...............Cindy |

| I am glad you are doing ok. I have had 5 lumpectomys my self and I know what you are going through. Mine were never cancerous tho. I know the wait is horrible. My sister-in-law just went thru the same thing as you and has just finished radiation treatments. I know those babies are uplifting. They are angels on your shoulder and lap.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I am so glad the results were better than you originally thought ! What great news for you and your family ! I have really been thinking about all you are going thru and your post today was the best thing I have seen in a long time ! We are still praying and thinking about you as I know its not over yet but I'm so glad to hear good news and what a relief it must be for you ! What an eye opener you have been to me as I have NEVER had a mamogram...and I'm 45. You will be my motivation now ! I was looking forward to meeting your Max and little Maggie - but not this way ! I'm hoping for your sake - I can look at their pics and feel just like I really met them ! ps...I also have a playpen and a little girl - 4-1/2 months - they would have had a blast ! If you end up needing anything and do end up in Houston - just say the word and I'm on it ... OK ? You get better and fast ! This is such great news ! I can't wait to tell my husband ...hugs to you and your family ~ (nice gentle ones) Keep posting - I'll just keep checking for your updates ~ Kiss those little nurses - they are the best medicine ~ Villette

| Thanks for the update. Max is such a sweetheart to be your little 'fur nurse'. They sure know how to comfort us when something is wrong, they just have that sixth sense as I always say. We're all thinking of you and hope you have a speedy recovery through all this treatment. |
