Is it ok to wash puppy bedding. I got him just before X-mas. I want to wash it but afraid I may be making a mistake because it may have his mama's smell on it. It is all in his crate, is it ok?

how old is your baby i mean mine is 10months old and since i got him at 8weeks old i wash his bed every two weeks

He is just 18 weeks now. I got him at 13 weeks. I'm worried I may take away a smell he likes. A smell of his mama. I was sent a blanky with him. So, it sounds like it is ok to wash?

Please wash his bedding!! That's just too long to go without a good washing. You don't want him to be tied to a blankie the rest of his life because it smells like his mommy. He needs his own smell on it now.

I got my baby at 9 weeks and have since washed her bedding and given her a bath

If yours seems upset about it I would put one of your old shirts or something that smells like you in with 'em - you're 'mom' now

yeah i would wash it to besides they love when their bedding and bed is nice and clean. My Rocky sticks his face right in the corners since it's a square bed and you hear him sniffing away and rolling in it he just loves it

He has had a bath every week. He gets a lot of attention around here. We have 6 kids! Of course he IS my 7th baby

The scent of Mom is just until he gets use to you, something familiar. Yes, wash the bedding. It will become a bacteria factory. Mine love it fresh from the dryer all warm and snuggly.
