| I hope they don't get me for animal cruelty I gave daisy a haircut. my trusty clippers fried on me 1/2 way through the cut so we had to the rest with scissors. those of you who groom for a living..please forgive me for what I have done

| aww such a nice sister... layla wanted to show daisy her new haircut (it was grandmas fault) so make her feel better! she was embarassed by it but now she thinks it makes her more aerodynamic for when she runs like the wind |

| Daisy is adorable! And I had to laugh...not at you...but because I've had the exact same thing happen when I clip my cocker and have had to finish her with the scissors. Cocker hair is hell on clippers. I must say that Daisy looks like she came out MUCH better than when I do that to Bailey. |

| What kind of clippers do you use to cut dog hair? I tried cutting Bailey (curly hair) with my clippers that I use to cut human hair and it got all clogged up...And they pulled her hair so we were done!

| I went to petsmart and bought the most expensive clippers they had there. and not most expensive "set" that comes with everything under the sun...but the most expensive clippers. they have lasted quite a while. I got them because daisy's hair is soooooooo incredibly thick and I burned up several cheap pair and I figured if I got a really nice set, they would pay for themselves after only a few months of grooming her myself vs. paying someone else. they have worked great but tonight they got really hot. I think I just over did it. I will probably look for professional dog grooming clippers next.

| they usually come with the attachments as well. If i were you, I would invest in some good thinning shears as well. Good clippers, good scissors, and good thinning shears and you will be all set I have been cutting my cockers hair for several years and have always had good scissors but only 1.5 years ago got good clippers. it made ALL the difference in the world. They cut through her hair like a hot knife in butter. It was such a relief. Next time I will be sure and get some that don't get so hot. these got really hot!!
