| does anyone know?? How old should a pup be before you start giving brewers yeast daily. I have always given it to my other 2 dogs and would like to start Maggie on it, but it doesn't say anywhere on the bottle how old they need to be. Maybe it doesn't matter??? I didn't start my others on it until they were about a year old because I didn't know about it until then. Thanks for your help

I didn't know that! I have read alot of members use missing link which, I really don't know much about, and this is supposed to be good for their coats... Many years ago I had a Golden and a Cocker,....I lived on a lake. With all that sand and woods they would have fleas terribly and get ticks...my vet ( at the time) told me that brewers yeast or garlic (sprinkled on their food) would help with the fleas...I tried it but, didn't really see any difference. Thanks for the info!

| i actually love the brewers yeast for the dogs skin and coat. I don't know exactly how effective it is for fleas because we have never had to worry about it (knock on wood) but I have heard a lot about the garlic in it being good to ward off fleas. So maybe try the brewers yeast and an occasional clove of garlic as a treat???? I'm no medical expert but it sounds like a good idea
