| Puppy playgroup not that much fun for Pepper... I found a daycare that organizes free playgroups for puppies on some Saturdays. I brought Peppi for evaluation and was sure he'll be in 7th heaven as he always runs up to dogs all sizes and wants to play. And I was really surprised, the only place where he could interact with other doggies running around without leash, he was so 'unsocial' . First, he spent most of the time trying to hide behind me or between my legs. Second, he paid more attention to people there than dogs, trying to jump up and lick everyone's face whenever they bent down to pet him. Third and worst , he snapped and tried to nip at a few puppies when they ran up and tried to play with him!! He was not even remotley interested in chasing them or running or even sniffing. I was shocked because I thought he was socialized... Then, I took him to the park where he was a completely different dog again. He tried to play with other dogs whenever we met any, doing the typical 'welcome puppy dance'... Go figure. Now I'm asking myself, will he enjoy staying at the daycare for the day??? Is it going to be too overhelming for him? If he can't feel at ease there, I know he won't eat or get proper rest... I really don't know what to do.
