| Ear Question My Yorkie Scooter Bug is 3 months old. His ears still are not standing. I trimmed the hair inside and out about 1/3 down, now they look like they are hanging down even more. Is it abnormal for them to not be standing at 3 months? Should I start taping now? I'm not sure what to do. I will still love him if they don't stand, but I really want them to. |

| If I were you I would start taping them now. You may not have to keep the tape on very long. Maybe a week or less. They are still cute if they dont stand but it's alot nicer if they do. Don't worry about shaving the ears, it will grow back quickly. |

| I shaved Lucy's ears, but they didn't stand until she was nearly 5 months old. One stood up one week and the second followed about a week later. I didn't tape them, but now I wish I had because may they'd have stood earlier.

| Ears and taping Hello, I was worried about Abbi's ears and I shaved them all the way down with a mustache shaver, then taped them. They fell down one at a time off and on, but I was persistent and now they are both up. They just began staying up last week. Hopefully, for good. Don't give up and you truly may have to shave further down. It worked for me. She looks adorable. She is happy as ever even though she didn't like it much. Don't give up. I gave up on my male Cody and his aren't up but sort of tilted. He is still adorable. I do wish I had known what to do. Someone else mentioned this some time back and it worked. I used masking tape. Good luck. Jan (Mollymae) |

| I taped Nico's ears when he was 9 or 10 weeks old. I only left the tape on a couple of days and they've been standing every since!!! See his taped ears????
