| Pets Supplies Shopper!!! So this afternoon we went to Pets Supplies Plus to do some shopping. We had Autumn and Maddie with us. My husband was carrying Autumn and Maddie was riding in the cart with Austin and we had our daughter and second to youngest child with us. We were looking for shampoo and a few new christmas toys and a new comb for the girls. First, almost as soon as we got in the door this woman walks up to our cart and exclaims "I have never seen a yorkie that dark" and without asking scoops Maddie up and starts kissing and hugging on her. My husband could tell I was fixing to flip out so he stepped up and took Maddie. We hurried away from that woman and continued with our shopping. About fifteen minutes later we run into the SAME woman in the dog food aisle and this time instead of grabbing Maddie, she said, "Which one gets to come with me? One of those cute kids or one of those gorgeous yorkies?" She then grabbed my DAUGHTER'S arm and said, "are you going to come with me?" and proceeded to tug my daughter towards her. My daughter grabbed onto the cart and screamed "NO" and I grabbed both of my kids that were walking and looked at my husband and said, "We are done shopping." We promptly checked out and left. I was livid!!! YOU DO NOT grab other peoples kids or dogs when out in public!!! I wish I had made a complaint about it with the cashier or someone but I was trying to get myself and my kids out of there fast and Ernie (hubby) wasn't complaining about my wanting to leave in a hurry. Not only was it rude, but how am I to know that the woman was really JOKING and NOT trying to steal my kids or my dog???!!! I don't think I am ever going back to that particular Pets Supplies Plus!!!

| That would have freaked me out too. When my boys were little, I would get upset when strangers would want to put their hands on them. I often will admire and compliment other people's kids or pets, but I don't touch! That lady was way too presumptuous for anyone's comfort!

| The lady was way out of line, but I certainly wouldn't hold it against the store. There are Kooks out there in every store. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Hope your daughter is okay after that experience. That was just down right rude of the woman. Had an experience myself with a couple of cooky ladies. I too just wanted to get away from them. Your chances of running into the same freak are slim. Give the store another chance.

| It would have freaked me out as well. She was pretty brazen to do what she did with your furbaby but then to "touch" your child! I would have definitely told the manager or cashier about his woman.........she needs help and they need to know so she won't be able to do this to others. The manager will be appreciative I am certain and you can still call them on the phone and let them know your concerns, you don't have to go back into the store in person to voice a complaint. But don't hold what happened against the store, I am sure they would have spoken with her and maybe even ushered her out the store if you had mentioned what had happened.

| OMG!! Your poor little girl. Even if she didn't mean anything wrong she is still a stranger to you. Have some freaking common sense! NEVER EVER touch someone elses dog without asking first, let alone their child. What nerve!! www.sweetpuppylove.zoomshare.com I love my furbabies |

| I called the manager last night and told them what happened. Still had my receipt in my pocket so I was able to give him an approximate time of day. And a description of the woman. He kept telling me he was sorry that it happened and I told him it wasn't his fault. It probably has more to do with the time of year...More weirdos and nut jobs are out and about doing "shopping" than normal. We are usually done with all of our holiday shopping by now and not used to crowds much either. My daughter is ok, but she did tell us she really thought the lady was going to "take me home for real" but we reassured her that we would never let that happen. Today she is happy go lucky like her normal self and they are asking to write their letters to Santa. LOL

| I'm glad your daughter is back to normal today. That was scarey to me! You just don't touch someone's child or dog without asking first and I'm so weird that I just don't think I'd give permission for either with a stranger!
