| Christmas Fish! Breny that is so darn cute of your dogs. No cats here, but we have a fish named Buddy. You know the feeder fish you buy for like 12 for $1.00, tiny lil things. Well we bought some to put in our little frog pond for our kids. No fish lived except Buddy, that was over 3 yrs ago. Buddy probably weighs close to 1/2 lb now. He gets brought in in the fall in his own tank thru winter, This picture of him was over a yr old. Hes bigger now, alot bigger. One spoiled feeder fish and he is really pretty too. My kids love this fish like a dog or cat! When the leves start falling, my daughter yells "Bring Buddy in MOM!" |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Wow! he's pretty!!!! Thats amazing. Now I'm going to think of those poor little feeders everytime I see them in the pet store! Awwww My fish stay out all year! We keep the waterfall running all winter and the pond freezes over except for right in front of the waterfall. We havne't had one die yet and they are multiplying! We had babies last spring. The adults are huge ....like 18 to 20 inches. I love sitting on the bridge and feeding them...its very peace ful |

| Our little pond can not sustain fish because it has a magnolia tree right over it, and unless I clean it out daily, in the fall it fills right up. I dont clean it out everyday. A koi pond is incredible. I bet its really pretty. Fresh running water fall, koi fish, a bench........so very nice. |
