| woundering a few things max is know almost 5 months old he was eating prena puppy chow and he did not like it so i changed to kibbles in bits he really likes it alot but i was just woundering if there is a food that i should bre feeding him that is better the vet did put him on a food called science diet because he has something wrong with his liver its not a shiut and there giving more tests so she put him on it because it was low in protien but kibbles has less and all the same ingreadents so is there ne thing else i can give him tha is better for him he likes having a varitity of kinds kibbles has 5 different flavores,ALSo what is a good long lasting chew treat he can have with fllavor besides rawhides and greenies ANd after he gets all his shots and keeps getting is deworm meds every month If he does have any will they go away THANX ALL |

| I have no idea about the food. I'm writing because you said he eats greenies and they are not good for him...dogs have died from them. There is a thread about this that you can search for.

| ooo please change his food!!! any food that you can buy in a grocery store is like feeding him mcdonalds every day. He needs to be eating a higher quality food... with no biproducts... there are tons of great threads on here about quality food... i feed my pup Blue Buffalo which is completely natural with little corn (most dogs are allergic to corn) |

| If he is having liver problems, you need to keep him on the prescription food your vet has recommended. He also doesn't need to get chews with lots of protein. Greenies and rawhides are both definately NO NO's. Try Nylabones Healthy Edibles. |

| Thanks no i do not feed max greenies or raw hides i am woundering what else i can feed him that has flavor and will last a long time also what would be the best food for him that is low protien and has different flavored peices soft and hard see im from canada P.E.I we have grocere stores walmart zellers at the vet theres not much varitity |
