| My dogs both love children (and grownups too). Your one little dog may just be shy - Sometimes we forget that dogs have different personalities and temperments and expect them to all be the same ---- but they aren't! Carol Jean |

| Louie is not shy around strangers. Once someone pets him they are his new best friend, but he hides from kids. It's the strangest thing. Is Gracie scared of strangers or just kids?

| Little Bit loves everyone. My husband always says if she ever gets out she's gone. She'd go off with an ax murderer. Is the little girl you babysit rough with her? If she has had a bad experience with one child she may think they are all like that. My grandchildren are rowdy and Little Bit just joins right in with them. In fact my 2 yr old granddaughter is terrified of her because Little Bit tries so hard to play with her. If she is going to be exposed to children at some time, I would try to find one very nice gentle child and just let her sit on the floor and offer her treats or whatever to try to get her socialized to the children. Good luck |

| Rocky is kinda shy around kids too. He'll let a kid pet him, but he doesn't get excited with kids the way he does with adults.

| Sometimes these babies are afraid because kids have so much energy. I would have a child you know well, give her some treats and play with her to get her comfortable. Within a few weeks I bet you'll see a drastic change. She just has to like 1-2 kids to start becoming less skiddish.

| Jewels doesnt like kids either and I have a 6 year old so you would think she would be used to them. She used to hide when My Daughter had friends over. She doesnt do that now but she really doesnt like kids to pick her up

| Adonis is very skiddish around children. I suppose thats mostly because I don't have children, and he isn't around them often. I don't care for him to be around children after I saw him nipping at my great nephews diaper! So for my dogs sake, as well as the childrens sake, no kids around my baby! |

Donating YT 11K Club Member | Teddy acts really weird around kids also, He runs away, lays down on his back so they can scratch his belly and then jumps so i can pick him up. I think they are just too hyper sometimes (kids) |
