| Frantic after baths, normal? Hi, my yorkie Howie is really calm during his baths and doesn't mind it too much. But, when we get out, and I'm drying him, he's extremely frantic. He's EVERWHERE! He tosses, turns, rolls around. I don't think he's cold because I usually use a warm towel from the dryer, and even when I haven't, he's been that way. Also, he isn't afraid of the blowdryer because he sees/hears me using it every day. Also, I know it's not too hot because I"m constantly moving it around. Please let me know if your babies do this as well. Thank you! |

| Haha...I think it's normal. Piccolo acts crazy after the bath. Runs in circles barking at the same time, rolls on the floor ( I leave a body towel for him because the carpet gives him statics). He jumps up and down the chairs and plays with himself ! So don't worry, our babies act like that all the time.

| Both of mine are all over the bathroom when I'm blowdrying, and even right after they get out of the bath. I learned fast to keep the door shut, till I get them dried! They love rolling on the bathrug, and the 2-3 towels I have on the floor! As well as anywhere from standing still for the blowdryer, to moving all over the bathroom with it. They go wild when they know I'm through too! Adonis knows I'm through when I start to pick up his collar. I think its kinda normal, well, for mine anyway! And oh, btw....they great in the tub...perfect angels! |

| Yup pretty normal. They don't go so crazy if you blow dry them before you turn them loose. |

| It's Normal Kiki does the same thing. He goes from room to room rubbing his face against the carpet. He even jumps on my bed and rub. I think they do it to get themselves dry quicker.

| Mia goes NUTSSSSSS - she literally jumps on our king size bed, runs in circles ON HER SIDE, jumps like a toad, flips, turns, make a funny grrrrr sound, tries to get under the comforter when she really doesn't like to, jumps on all of pillows (6-8), changes direction etc. At first I was a little alarmed, but now I just do this bugle thing and go along with her!

| Totally normal - I have had a lot of dogs - and never had one that didn't do this. I don't know why they do it - but I have always felt that they are just "happy happy happy" to be done with that bath. Plus - they're "wet" and you can tell that they are doing whatever they can to dry themselves off. If they weren't so "happy" --- I'd feel sorry for them. But mine are "ecstatic" and seem to be having the time of their life. Carol Jean |

| Thank you everyone for the reply. I'm glad to know this is normal and I shouldn't worry. At first I got really scared because I wasn't sure if something was wrong with him. But, I see it's just their nature. |
