| Just Want 2 Say Sorry I apologize to all that feel like i was rude i may have been, i reacted instead of thinking first and my feelings were and still are hurt, not just from the thread i posted (in several forums ) oops.... i haven't been on yt long and i was impatient. i was in kid mode, i wanted to know all the awnsers to my questions right then, I realize now that posting the way i did wasn't the way to do things I understand the ever so often goofy newbie is a bit frusterating to you long timers here on yt, and that is just the reaction you guys had to my bad choice of words. again i feel like i should say sorry and possibly see ya around I didn't realize how serious dog breeders take thier hobby breeding, my goofyness has made a "friend" ask me to take their link off my site, this has really hurt my feelings. I guess I understand, I embarressed her, and for that i am sorry.well good luck to everyone and thier fur family, maybe i'll just read more books to get my informaition.

| I don't think you did anything that requires an apology. When I read the thread I did think it was a poor choice of words to say to a bunch of yorkie lovers but it's not that big of a deal. People have weathered much worse than that here. Just know if you ask for opinions, you are going to get them - good and bad - especially when it's about showing or breeding but you can also learn so much here. You just can't be a sensitive wimp about it. Best of luck.

| Please stick around, I think a vast array of different perspectives is what makes an interesting forum. I just read all the postings, and I don't think anything that was said was anything more than difference of opinions. I can understand if you wanted a show coat some scepticism as to when and if the coat was going to change, and I think that is what you were asking? Show coat from what I have learned as a rookie in yorkies is important in showing. I got my latest yorkie for just that reason, she was a show potential perfect in most show qualities whose coat let her down, so to speak! However from our perspective it raised her up cause now she is the most cherished in our home ring!!!! |

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Oh just stick around woman! LOL. It's over and done with!! I'm sure in time EVERYONE is going to say something that will end up hurting someones feelings, and some may even be the ones that get their feelings hurt. It happens. It's extremely hard sometimes, to understand ones "tone" on a board/forum...so hurt feelings and people getting upset with one another IS going to happen. We just gotta learn to ride it out...in a day or so that thread will be said and done with, and everything will most likely go back to normal anyway Whataya say? Stick around for a while?

| I'm sorry you feel like you have to apologize. It has already been said, but I'll say it again - when you ask for opinions you will get them in all shapes and forms. Please don't fret over it. You will find lots of great information here much more readily than searching through books. Hang in there, there are many very friendly folks here as well as many who are very passionate and that comes across in their replies. All that being said, I wouldn't give up on your little one's coat. Give her a chance to get a little older and you may be pleasantly surprised.

| I am not one that posts alot, I usually just read the threads and go from there. I have a total of 7 little ones, out of those 7, 3 of them I paid over $2000.00 for them, for their "show quality", WELL, they are NOT up to par. I will tell you this, I would not trade any of them, I love them and they all love me. Now, regarding this site, I would stick around, there are numerous people here that have a wealth of information and are willing to share that information to anyone who asks. So stick around..... |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I agree with everyone else and can't improve on how they said anything .....so I'll just say - live and learn - There are some that get off to a rocky start - but this IS a good site to gather information. If you do love your pets and want to do right by them - STAY ....there just maybe someone here who will give your little girl a great home and you just may end up finding that elusive 'show' quality yorkie - but to tell you the truth ...that's WAY easier said than done. Can I add something without you getting upset ? You're breeding a baby (10 months old) and because we ALL love yorkies - that does bother some...IF I WERE in your shoes - I would start reading all you can here and on the net - spend time time with a seasoned breeder - and maybe change your breeding program to be more Yorkie friendly ...rather than having such a young female bred. and as far as all the threads - like you said - newbie ! that's no biggie |

| No need to apologize. You said nothing wrong, just a little bit zealous in your posting. As you said you were impatient and not getting the answers you wanted to hear and I'm sure that is what drove you to post as often as you did. Just remember in the show world and I think that's where you want to head, never ask questions about your dog unless you really want an honest answer. If you want to know if your show potentials are going to make it in the ring, take them to a show, have them evaluated by a judge, handler or a good breeder. But, listen very carefully what they have to say. Asking people on a forum to look at your dogs picture and tell you what they will not give you a true evaluation. A dog must be evaluated in person, the evaluater must physically examine them, and watch their movement. Find yourself a mentor that will guide you down the proper path
