| You can make a difference Hi everybody! I am implementing a program called Youth & Dog Partnership Program in New York City and am requesting your help. The program's objective is to place sheltered dogs in a local juvenile detention center, where detained youth will provide care and training for their furry friends :Puppy: and the dogs will in turn give opportunities for "troubled" kids to develop responsibility and compassion for life . The program will have a "win-win" impact: dogs will help rehabilitate detained youth and youth will help increase chances for adoption for the dogs. To put this program in full gear, I am in dire need of supplies. If you have any extra supplies listed below, please donate to make this program happen kennel/crates toys food/water bowl ANY grooming supplies (brush, blowdryer, shampp/cond, etc.) leash & collar bath towels blankets I would appreciate ANY used or new supplies. If you would like to make financial contibution to this cause, please feel free . I am grateful for anything you can offer. I am offering my promise that, should this program ever fail to get off the groud (mainly due to funding), I will donate all your contribution to Animal Haven, a "no-kill" shelter in NYC. http://www.animalhavenshelter.org/ Thank you so much for your help!! If you have any questions and/or would like to donate, please contact me at oshioshi@gmail.com |
