New here, new to Yorkies - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Hi all,
I am a very new mom of Lucy and Tucker. My significant other and I have the "honor" of raising 2 new Yorkie puppies, in addition to the 8 cats we already have. I am joining this group in the hopes of learning, and enjoying hearing your Yorkie stories as well! Lucy and Tucker are 10 and 11 weeks old, a male and a female and very entertaining. Previously, I must admit, I was not a "dog" person... both despising the giant jumpy dogs that knocked you down, and not really caring for the "ankle biter" smaller dogs. But these 2 are real characters, and I enjoy them very much each day. They are truly big dogs in little bodies.

Welcome to YT! I too was not a "dog person" until I got Gracie about 9 weeks ago now. She changed my life for the better. I have learned so much here at YT and feel that my Gracie got off to a good start because I studied here before I got her. We look forward to seeing many pics as your little babes grow!

Hello and Welcome.

I'm kinda new here also. I, too, joined when I was searching for information, advice and opinions on a new puppy. YT has been a great help to me and you are able to make lots of new friends here.

The information is invaluable here and I have learned so much. I know you'll truly enjoy everything about it!!

Welcome! I spent the first 47 years of my life making fun of ankle biters. Then I got a Yorkie, and it was all over. I can't wait to see pics -- and vids -- with all those cats!

Welcome to YT! My Patrick and I "thought" we had been dog lovers our entire lives .... until .... we first saw Toto!!!

She totally caught us off guard .... the rest is history!

We are looking forward to hearing all about your Yorkie babies!

Welcome to YT!!!! You'll find all kinds of valuable info here and also a lot of fun. But be warned: YT is highly addictive and there are no rehab programs... yet......

Until I met Mitzi I had the opinion that a dog I have to bend over to pet is not a dog.... (my last dog was a 150 lbs. Leonberger).
