| I've never had a problem with fleas either. I did use Frontline Plus, still do on my Golden, but switched to Revolution for my 4 Yorkies. The only reason I switched, was the smaller ones had trouble chewing their Heartgard and Revolution has both the heartworm and flea medication together. Still....no fleas!!! I recommend either one.

| I know fleas can come into a house on a person's shoe or pants and once they find a nice warm cozy spot in a carpet or chair, look out! Also have to treat yards. Are they dog fleas (brown ones with bodies you can pinch and kill) or sand fleas (little black flat ones that you have to break in half with your nail)? Brown ones prefet the dogs. Black ones will live anywhere. I had them so bad one year, I found a couple of them in my drt's hair. I bombed the heck out of my house, top to bottom, and got rid of them. They like hot and dry. Kinda like Kansas. One good thing about cold winters - no fleas! OH, Roxy is on K-9 Advantix and I have only found 1 dead flea (sand) when she took a bath. Put on white socks and walk around your house to see if they are in your carpets. They love white. Good luck, they are miserable things to deal with.

| frontline and revolution are good products for flea prevetion...to kill them all theres a pill called capstar that you can get at the vet that will kill them all but lasts 24 hours but you use that in the beginning to get rid of them then the preventative to keep them gone...if you sprinkle borax on your carpet then vacuum i heard that gets rid of them from your carpet |

| This summer was just horrible for fleas in Kansas. My pets have never gotten fleas before and we never had to use anything. I had to put them on Frontline plus this year. I still find a few fleas on them every now and again, but that is after being outside playing most of the day at the lake or out in the country. Usually a good bath with dish soap takes care of them with my yorkie. Good Luck! And if you want to look into other options for flea preventatives, check out lambriarvetsupply.com They have great prices, and you might be able to get stuff cheaper if you call in and talk to a friend of mine. PM me if you are interested. (I got a 3 month supply of Frontline plus for only $20.00) |

| They are terrible here in PA this year also! I have never had fleas either, but I do this year!! I CAN'T STAND IT!!!! I treated the yard, bombed the house, bathed the dogs....and still . Everyone I have talked to has treated for them and still have problems this year. An exterminator told my cousin that he has treated more houses this year that have no pets at all! |
