Ive never heard of them before joining this site - it seems like they are a band of stretchy material that fits round the dogs lower belly covering where they wee from - you can buy pads made for them or some ladies use sanitory towels or panty liners ! I guess the its the same principal and you can get them cheaper. They are handy if say visiting a friends house and you dont want the chance of any accidents at all or while travelling etc

Belly bands are used for males. I don't use it for actual bathroom problems. I have fully house trained mine, but it is used to control marking...

Belly bands are for boy doggies like my Simon who likes to hike his little leg up in my apartment I put a sanitary pad in it and it keeps him from being the little pee machine he is!

| I knew that the belly bands are for boys, but i never actually knew what they were used for. So basically the purpose of these belly bands is so that they can't pee around the house ? is this belly band absorbant like what happens if they pee wearing the band. This belly band thing is defently new too me, i have a girl and obvisouly don't have any trouble with her marking. Sorry if these questions sound a little dumb

It's not dumb at all! I didn't know what they were either for a long time I use them for Simon b/c he likes to mark in the house sometimes. He has never used the bathroom wearing it, I take it off when I'm watching him or I'm home and can keep my eye on him.
